This complete 120 g slice, measuring 175 × 80 mm with a thickness of approximately 2.5 mm, represents one of the finest specimens recovered from the Lov 263 find in the Atacama Desert. Unlike classical pallasites, Lov 263 is characterized by an unusual metallic matrix, whose texture and organization differ markedly from those typically observed within this meteorite group.
