• >A 10-15g stony meteorite found in the Sahara desert (NWA 869)

  History: At least 2 metric tons of material comprising thousands of individuals has been sold under the name NWA 869 in the market places of Morocco and around the world. A complete meteorite with an aesthetic form and typical desert varnish, shapes will vary. The photo showed here is an example - you may not necessarily receive this meteorite

• >A 10-15g iron meteorite found in Argentina  (Campo del Cielo). History: A mass estimated at about 15 tons was found, Don Rubin de Celis, Phil. Trans. Roy. Soc. London, 1788, 78, p.37, 183, L.Fletcher, Min. Mag., 1889, 8, p.229. In 1813 a mass of about 1400lb was brought to Buenos Aires and was later given to Sir Woodbine Parish who presented it to the Nat. • >A 10-15g tektite, teardrop shaped found in Vietnam (Indochinite)History: Indochinite tektites are the best known of the tektites, classic teardrop and cigar shapes are found in rice paddies throughout Thailand, Laos and Vietnam areas. The material solidified in space, normally stretches out into dumbbells and separate into two teardrop-shaped forms as they cool, shapes will vary.
